SketchPad 1.1 released
Apple today approved version 1.1 of SketchPad. Version 1.1 improves interaction, text tool, table of contents and more.
When I got my hands on an iPad last week I finally was able to test SketchPad on the device and immediately it became obvious that some things had to change and others improve. Dragging around in the document as well as zooming should now be as you’d expect.
Another big improvement was made in the TOC which now renders proper previews in Landscape as well. There are of course many more improvements and I encourage you to try this new version out yourselves. Visit the product page for more information.

As I wrote to you in my e-mail, it would be great you to implement COPY and PASTE functions through different applications. Pasting drawing into “Pages” or “Keynote” would be a so great step for the rest of us…

bought your app.
Perhaps that was a mistake. I am not intuitive, and if there are any “instructions” they aren’t in any of the obvious places. Apologies if these are matters you deal with in your documentation that I have stupidly overlooked.
Q: Can I add text, limited by and filling a shape?
this seemed to be possible from my interpretation of the app store ad. It was my only reason for buying. Even if I could figure out how to manage your layers, I will have wasted six dollars, otherwise.

You can’t at the moment put text inside a shape. I don’t think the screenshots suggested that something like this is possible though.
We are working hard on version 2.0 that’ll add lots of nice stuff from the Mac version – and it’ll be a free upgrade
